Three Universities Sign Tripartite Agreement for Academic Collaboration

Kanchanpur. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed to foster academic collaboration between three universities. According to university information officer Nabin Bahadur Bam, a tripartite agreement was reached at the Sudurpashchim University in Mahendranagar between Tribhuvan University, Mid-Western University, and Sudurpashchim University for study, research, and academic cooperation.

According to him, the vice-chancellors of all three universities signed the agreement during a program held in the presence of University Grants Commission Chairman Prof. Dr. Dev Raj Adhikari. The agreement was signed by Sudurpashchim University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hemraj Pant, Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, and Mid-Western University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dhruva Kumar Gautam.

During the program, Sudurpashchim University Registrar Prof. Dr. Binod Lekhak expressed his belief that the agreement would take collaboration between the universities to new heights. "This agreement will prove to be a milestone in managing skilled human resources by fulfilling the shortage of high-level academic personnel through digital means," he said. "We expect this understanding to make the study and research work of teachers and students more convenient and effective." The three universities aim to institutionalize the exchange of educational resources, research, technology, and experience.

Specifically, programs such as conducting joint classes through a 'digital platform,' research collaboration, and the shared utilization of professors will be advanced. The university stated that this collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to improving the quality of higher education, effective resource utilization, and the development of a modern technology-based teaching system.
