New Executive Committee of Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal Takes Oath

Kathmandu. The newly elected executive committee of the Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) has formally taken the oath of office and secrecy following its 13th convention. During a special ceremony held at the Federation's central office in Anamnagar on Monday morning, newly elected President Nicholas Pandey, along with other office bearers and members, took the oath with a commitment to assume their duties.

The team elected for the upcoming term has expressed a firm determination to restore the declining prestige of the construction sector and work steadfastly for the rights and welfare of contractors. The swearing-in ceremony saw a significant presence of former federation presidents, representatives from various districts and provinces, and stakeholders. Participants noted that the convention has infused a new energy of unity and cooperation among construction professionals.

In the new executive committee, Nicholas Pandey has assumed the responsibility of President, while Shiva Hari Ghimire has been elected as General Secretary. Similarly, Dhirendra Dahal has been elected as Vice President for Koshi Province, Shambhu Thakur for Madhesh, Balkrishna Thapa for Bagmati, Khim Prakash Malla for Gandaki, Sahadev Khadka for Lumbini, Him Bahadur Budha for Karnali, and Prakash Bahadur Shetty for Sudurpashchim Province.

Ganga Pokharel has been elected as the Women Vice President, while Mangal Shahi has taken the role of Policy Deputy General Secretary and Santosh Sah as Internal Deputy General Secretary. Ujjwal Gautam has been selected as Treasurer, responsible for financial management, with Upendra Ghising serving as Assistant Treasurer.
