New Delhi. After 'Dhurandhar', Ranveer Singh is set to appear in 'Pralay'. Producer Hansal Mehta recently spoke about his zombie film. The film will be directed by Jai Mehta, who is Hansal Mehta's son. He co-directed 'Scam 1992' with his father. The film will be produced under Hansal Mehta's banner, with Ranveer Singh's production company also serving as a co-producer. The film's budget is reported to be approximately 300 crore INR.

What will be the story of 'Pralay'?

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter India, 'Pralay' will be a film depicting a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombie terror. The story has been written by Jai Mehta and Vishal Kapoor. While there are rumors that parts of the story resemble 'Blindness', Hansal Mehta has stated that a book like 'Blindness' cannot be easily adapted into a film.

In addition to Ranveer Singh, Kalyani Priyadarshan will appear as the lead actress. Kalyani Priyadarshan is the daughter of famous Bollywood director Priyadarshan. Her recent film 'Loka' was a major hit. Filming is expected to begin in mid-2026. It is also reported that an international team will be working on the film.
