Bagmati Chief Minister Baniya Urges Support for Hetauda Road Expansion Victims

Hetauda. Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has urged for relief measures for business owners affected by the demolition of structures during road expansion in Hetauda.

Inaugurating the 59th anniversary of the Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hetauda today, he stated that the federal government should take the initiative to waive bank interest for traders impacted by the road expansion project.

Stating that the provincial government is prepared to facilitate tax payments, Chief Minister Baniya affirmed the government's commitment to supporting the affected business community.

Emphasizing the need for honesty in business, responsibility, and understanding, Chief Minister Baniya warned that the state may be forced to intervene if dishonest business practices occur.

Stressing that the main road expansion in Hetauda should be carried out with minimal damage, he added that if the federal government decides to construct a bypass from Lachka Bridge to Rapti Bridge, the provincial government is ready to allocate the necessary budget.
