First Look Posters of 'Roll No. 1' Unveiled

Kathmandu. The first look of the film 'Roll No. 1' has been released. Production company Seven Seas has unveiled two distinct posters as the film's first look.

The two posters attempt to present the core essence of the film and its perspective on the realities of Nepali society alongside character introductions. In one of the posters, child actor Nirbhik Regmi is seen alongside lead actor Mukun Bhusal and actress Renu Yogi in rural attire. Their costumes depict the struggle they are enduring to survive. The poster shows a father educating his son despite scarcity. The subtle joy on the child's face and the school in the hilly region visible in the background suggest that the film explores themes of education and rural life.

The second poster features an emotional scene of the child sleeping with his head on his father's back. The joy on the child's face and the hilly landscape in the background highlight the challenges rural parents face in providing necessary educational materials, signaling how these obstacles hinder the dreams of students and their families.

Directed by John Yonjan, the film is scheduled for release across Nepal on Jestha 15 (Republic Day).

The film features Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari in lead roles. Child actors Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Sanyam Katuwal, and Sijal Shrestha also star in the film.

Produced by Binod Paudel and Janvi Paudel, the film's co-producers are Chhatramaya Giri and Ramesh Chaulagain. The film is written by Mahesh Dawadi. Shot in various scenic and rural areas of the Himalayan district of Myagdi, the film's DOP is Shivaram Shrestha.

The film features music by Prashant Shivakoti and is edited by Madan Ghimire. According to producer Paudel, the film will be released simultaneously in Nepal and abroad. Rich Entertainment and JM Cinema have taken on the responsibility of distributing the film.
