Two Nepali Nationals Die in Iraq's Kurdistan Region

Kathmandu. Two Nepali citizens working in the Kurdistan region of Iraq have passed away. The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Iraq reported that their deaths occurred on 28 March in the cities of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. 

According to details provided by NRNA Iraq, the deceased have been identified as Rita Bhujel from Gorkha and Lekhman Ghale from Lamjung. 

 Rita Bhujel, originally from the former Dhawa-3, Tandrang (Gorkha), was found dead in her room in Sulaymaniyah city. She had been working in the Kurdistan region of Iraq for over 10 years.

Similarly, Lekhman Ghale from Lamjung passed away in Erbil, another city in Kurdistan. Ghale, a native of Dordi-5, Pachok (Lamjung), died while undergoing treatment at the Jumuri Hospital in Erbil. The specific health issues that led to their hospitalizations have not been disclosed.
