Florida International Airport to be Renamed After Donald J. Trump

The name of the Florida International Airport will now be announced as President “Donald J. Trump International Airport.” The announcement was made by Eric Trump, son of US President Donald Trump.

It has been stated that an agreement has been signed to rename the airport after Trump, and it will be formally implemented from July 1.

Publishing the information via the social media platform X, Eric Trump thanked Ron DeSantis, Florida's Attorney General, and members of the House of Representatives for assisting in the renaming process.

However, the aviation administration clarified in a statement that it has not yet approved the name change.

CBS News reported that the Trump family had applied to rename the airport last February.
