Iran's IRGC Targets US Military Sites in Response to American Airstrikes, Citing Lack of Commitment to Ceasefire

Tehran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it has targeted American military locations in response to American airstrikes on Iranian coastal areas, the IRNA news agency reported.

Meanwhile, Ebrahim Azizi, a member of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated that the United States is not committed to a ceasefire and that the blame game will not work in the future.

He confirmed on social media platform X that the US attacked Iran again while the negotiation process was ongoing, stating that the US President has no commitment to the principles of negotiation or ceasefire.

Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance said that if Iran has disagreements on how the MoU is being implemented, they can consult even by phone.

He stated that Iran should respect the signing of the ceasefire agreement and resolve any disagreements on the implementation of the MoU with them over the phone, but violence will be met with violence.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had signed a tripartite framework agreement between Israel and Lebanon. On social media platform X, he mentioned that the US is proud to be part of the historic tripartite framework agreement between Israel and Lebanon, stating that meaningful steps have been taken for peace, prosperity, and coexistence as there is still much work to be done.

Ebrahim Al-Fikar, the official military spokesman for the operational command center coordinating the IRGC and the regular Iranian army, Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said that this time Iran's response to the American attack will be strong.
