Nepali Film '36 Ko Aakada' Postpones Release Due to Unfinished Technical Work

Kathmandu. The release of the film '36 Ko Aakada' has been postponed. The film, which was scheduled for release on Chaitra 27, is being delayed because technical work is still pending.

Director Sabir Shrestha stated that the film's release is being postponed because the technical work is incomplete. Shrestha said, 'A lot of technical work, including the background music, is still pending for the film. Because of this, we cannot release the film on the scheduled date.' He added, 'Once the work is finished, we will consult with the producers and set a new date.'

With the film's release halted, there is talk in the film industry about strained relations between actress Rekha Thapa and director Sabir Shrestha. However, neither has commented on this matter.

The film, which was being produced with the firm stance of not budging from the Chaitra 27 date, stars Rekha Thapa, Pooja Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, Pushpa Khadka, and Niruta Singh in the lead roles. Previously, Rekha and Niruta acted together in the film 'Dui Pal,' which was produced by Rekha Thapa.

The exit of '36 Ko Aakada' from the Chaitra 27 slot brings relief to two other films scheduled for release on the same date: Biraj Bhatt's 'Ram Naam Satya' and Sagar Lamsal (Bale)'s 'Dalle Le Entry Maryo.'
