Nepali Film 'Batulo June' Announces Release Date for Dashain Festival

Kathmandu. The film 'Batulo June' is set to release on Ashoj 30, coinciding with the Phulpati of the upcoming New Year (2083) Dashain festival. The production unit announced the film's release date on Monday, coinciding with actor Anmol KC's birthday.

Starring Anmol and Princi Khatiwada in the lead roles, the film is produced under the banner of Sunrise Pictures Pvt. Ltd. The first look of the film has also been unveiled, featuring Anmol and Princi. In the poster, set against the backdrop of a full moon night, Anmol is seen holding a torch reflecting the contemporary environment in one hand while holding Princi's foot, including her anklet, with the other.

The film, which tells a rural love story, is produced by Jiya KC and Bhavishya Khadka. Directed by actor Bhuwan KC, the film features performances by Bhuwan KC, Anmol KC, Princi Khatiwada, Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, Rear Rai, Deepak KC, Shweta Mishra, Laxmi Giri, Sharada Giri, Laxminath Timilsina, Shishir Shivakoti, Arpana Ghatani, Bibika Paudel, and Kamal Devkota.

The film was shot in various locations including Kathmandu, Myagdi, Nuwakot, Chitlang, and Pokhara. Tejbikram KC is the executive producer of the film, while the story is written by Samipya Raj Timilsena and Sarin Pokharel.
