Minister Pokharel Pledges Commitment to Quality, Inclusive, and Innovation-Driven Education and Youth Policies

Kathmandu. Minister for Education, Science and Technology and Youth and Sports, Sasmik Pokharel, has pledged to promote quality, inclusive, and innovation-oriented education, along with youth-friendly policies.

Minister Pokharel, who also holds the responsibility of government spokesperson, clarified through a social media post that he accepts this responsibility not merely as a position, but as a duty to strengthen the education system that builds the nation's future, develop scientific thinking, build a technology-friendly society, empower the youth force, and enhance national pride through sports.

“I will contribute to nation-building by embracing the expectations of students, teachers, researchers, and the entire younger generation, producing a workforce capable of global competition, encouraging research and innovation, and effectively utilizing technology,” he stated. “I will channel the energy, creativity, and capability of the youth in the right direction, expanding opportunities for entrepreneurship, employment, and leadership development. I will move forward with determination to ensure the professional development of the sports sector, identification of talent, and a strong presence of Nepal on the international stage.”
