Balendra Shah Set to Take Oath as New Prime Minister at Sheetal Niwas

Kathmandu. Preparations are complete at the President's Office, Sheetal Niwas, for the oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed Prime Minister. Balendra Shah, leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party parliamentary party, which secured a majority under Article 76(1) of the Constitution of Nepal, has been appointed as the Prime Minister. He is scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy before President Ramchandra Paudel today.

Following the Prime Minister's oath, ministers appointed today are also preparing to take their oaths. High-ranking officials of the country, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions in Nepal, and distinguished personalities from society are scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
