Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' Shatters Box Office Records, Grossing Over 691 Crore Globally

Mumbai. Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh's latest film, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge,’ has created a storm at the box office. Released as the sequel to the 2025 blockbuster film 'Dhurandhar,' this movie has pulverized several major global records within its first week of release.

According to Sacnilk, an organization that compiles box office statistics, the film collected INR 114.85 crore in India on the first Sunday alone. With this, the film's total earnings in India have reached 411.12 crore, while globally, the film has already surpassed the mark of 691.32 crore INR. The Hindi version contributed 107 crore to Sunday's earnings, with the remaining amount coming from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.

The journey of this film, which began with a massive opening of 102.55 crore on March 19, has not stopped. On the second day, March 20, it earned 80.72 crore, and on the third day, March 21, it earned 113 crore, maintaining its dominance at the box office. Trade analysts have been astonished, especially as the film hit back-to-back centuries, capitalizing on the extended weekend.

Dhurandhar 2 has significantly surpassed the opening records of previous major blockbusters like Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. While Animal opened with 63 crore and Jawan with 65 crore in 2023, Ranveer Singh's film set a new history by earning over 102 crore on its very first day. 

This film, which secured over 21,000 shows across India, is now redefining the commercial benchmarks of Indian cinema.
