Rastriya Swatantra Party VP Urges Lawmakers to Win Public Trust for Electoral Dominance

Kathmandu. The Vice Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Dol Prasad Aryal, has stated that the party must win the complete trust of the public within the next five years to secure results in the next election that leave no opposition.

Speaking at an orientation program for newly elected members of parliament in Lalitpur, Aryal directed the lawmakers to create an environment where the Nepali public votes solely for the RSP by the time of the next general election.

He emphasized that achieving this goal is not possible merely through speeches or the efforts of a few leaders, stressing that every representative must deliver results-oriented work from their respective positions.

Vice Chairman Aryal expressed the view that although the party achieved a technical victory in the election, the nation and the people have yet to feel a real victory. He stated that the government to be formed must work towards establishing good governance, ensuring effective service delivery, and completely eradicating corruption.

He further stated that RSP lawmakers must be responsible for making citizens in remote areas feel the presence of the state and assuring them that 'the government exists for me.' He mentioned that creating an environment to bring Nepalis living abroad back to the country must be a main priority for the party.

Addressing the program, Aryal urged the lawmakers to dedicate their capabilities and diligence to the national interest. Interpreting the current time as a 'golden opportunity' to write history, he warned that failing to utilize it properly would make it difficult to forgive themselves in the future.

He also cautioned everyone to stay away from potential internal conflicts, tug-of-wars, and the tendency to undermine each other within the party. Stating that every minute must be invested in nation-building, he said all lawmakers must unite to send a new political message.

Aryal acknowledged that the current mandate was received due to the trust placed in party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Balen Shah. However, he argued that the collective hard work of all members is necessary to maintain this trust and make the party number one in the coming days.

He stressed that results will not come by only promoting the Chairman and senior leaders, emphasizing that every lawmaker must win the hearts of the people by achieving excellent results in their respective areas of work.
