Besisahar hosts Model UN Conference

Besisahar, Lamjung –A model United Nations (UN) Conference primarily focused on the personality development of youths was held at Besisahar, the district headquarters of Lamjung,district in province 4. 

Youths from 35 districts in seven provinces have attended the event organised targeting school, college and university students. According to organisers, the objective of the conference was to create atmosphere for discussing contemporary world issues and for confidence and leadership development among the participants. 

The event majorly held discussions on the UN goals of sustainable development and their impact on human lives. Likewise, issues of food security among the displaced and participation of women and youths at all levels of the State were held during the two-day conference that kicked off yesterday, as stated by member on the organising committee, Bhanubhakta Adhikari.---
