UK's UCLan graduates honored by Bizz Education
Kathmandu, November 22 — Bizz Education Consultancy has honored students who graduated from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), UK, and returned to Nepal. The event, held on Thursday at Yak and Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu, recognized five students who completed their studies in the UK.
The students, who returned after pursuing international education and recognizing opportunities in Nepal, were honored by Bizz Education at its office in Gatthaghar, Bhaktapur. The honorees include Reshma Bhandari, Rajul Shrestha, Anuradha Sharma, Abhishek Gautam, and Rekha Negi Lama. Bizz Education has been facilitating students from Nepal to study at UCLan.
On this occasion, UCLan's International Recruitment Director, Ula Tang Plowman, Bizz Education's Managing Director, Hari Karki, and Upendra Man Singh, Chairman of the Madhyapur Youth Club and former football captain, jointly presented the awards.
Hari Karki advised students to carefully consider their financial situation before going to the UK for studies, highlighting that some students face difficulties paying fees after arriving. "I've seen some students cry because they couldn't pay their fees," Karki said. He advised students to plan ahead and take loans with the intention to repay them by working in the UK. Karki expressed happiness about the students who have successfully returned to Nepal and are now running successful businesses or enterprises after receiving international education.
The event, titled 'Promoting British Education in Nepal', was moderated by former Miss Nepal, Sadiksha Shrestha. A panel discussion was held during the event with Ula Tang Plowman from UCLan and Hari Karki from Bizz Education, focusing on the facilitation of Nepalese students studying in the UK and the opportunities available.
