Talks Between ANFA and Dissatisfied 'A' Division Clubs End Without Agreement

Kathmandu. The talks between the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the dissatisfied 'A' Division League clubs have concluded without a resolution. Following the failure of discussions with club officials who are staging a sit-in protest at the ANFA headquarters with seven-point demands, they have returned to their protest sit-in.

Club officials, who had been protesting since early morning, were initially stopped by ANFA outside the gate. Later, ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai called the club representatives for talks.

Representing the dissatisfied clubs in the talks were Bishwas Bikram Shah, President of Friends Club; Anil Shrestha, President of Machhindra Football Club; Ruben Rai, President of Church Boys United; Kapil Rana Magar, President of Satdobato Youth Club; Bijay Ghale, President of Manang Marshyangdi Club; Sundarraj Joshi, President of NRT Club; Kumar Rajbhandari of RCT; and Jaykishan Shrestha, Vice President of Three Star.

However, as no consensus could be reached during the talks, the club officials have returned to their sit-in protest program.
