Nepali Wushu Player Sujan Kaksapati Wins Double Gold in International Debut Tournament in Germany

Kathmandu. Nepali Wushu player Sujan Kaksapati has won double gold medals in his debut international competition. Sanjeet Kumar Rai, President of the Nepal Wushu Association and General Secretary of the WMAC Nepal Chapter, informed that Sujan won gold in two different events at the Battle of Bavaria held in Regensburg, Germany.

Sujan competed in Chinese Creative Form and Traditional Form with Weapon in the competition organized by the World Martial Arts Committee (WMAC). Sujan scored 23.02 points in the Chinese Creative Form. There were 5 participants in this event. Sujan scored 22.58 points in the Traditional Form with Weapon, where 7 players participated.

The Nepal Wushu Association stated that 1,200 players from 10 nations, including Nepal, participated in the competition. Sujan is the silver medalist from the Seventh National Wushu Championship. Sujan is scheduled to return home on Tuesday.
