Former Minister Jagadish Kharel Pledges Implementation of Inquiry Commission Report on Recent Protests

Kathmandu. Former Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, stated that the upcoming government will implement the report of the inquiry commission related to the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24.

Meeting with the family of martyr Binod Maharjan in Lalitpur on Tuesday, Kharel asserted that since the election was held on the foundation of the 'Jenji' movement, the next government will implement the inquiry commission's report. Kharel, who is also the elected member of the House of Representatives from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Lalitpur-2, expressed confidence that the current government will make necessary decisions regarding the report through the Council of Ministers. He added that implementing the suggestions, recommendations, and conclusions suggested by the commission will be the responsibility of the next government.

Furthermore, Kharel clarified that the government will move forward by seriously considering the spirit of the movement for ending corruption, establishing good governance, and ensuring education, employment, and health services within the country.

He opined that the RSP will now bring the revolution led by the youth to fruition and will definitely bring change to the nation.
