Final Election Results Announced for 16 Federal Constituencies in Sudurpashchim Province

Dhangadhi. The final election results for the 16 House of Representatives constituencies in Sudurpashchim Province have been made public. Sixteen candidates secured victory in the voting held on Falgun 21, ensuring their journey to the House of Representatives.

A total of 206 candidates contested for the 16 seats in Sudurpashchim during this election. Among them, 16 candidates won the trust of the voters and opened the door to parliament, while the remaining 190 candidates were defeated.

According to the Election Commission's data, major parties including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), along with various smaller parties and a large number of independent candidates, participated in the electoral contest. Among the 16 winning members of parliament, 10 are from RSP, 3 from UML, and 3 from Congress. No other parties won the election besides these. Among the 190 defeated candidates were some established leaders and some young and independent candidates gaining their first electoral experience.
