Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidates Win All Three House of Representatives Seats in Kanchanpur

Mahendranagar. Candidates from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been elected in all three constituencies of Kanchanpur under the House of Representatives.

In Kanchanpur-1, RSP's Janak Singh Dhami emerged victorious. The Election Officer's office stated that he won with 24,332 votes. In this constituency, the candidate from the CPN (Maoist Centre), Bina Magar, received 11,110 votes, the candidate from the Nepali Congress, Gopi Prasad Upadhyaya, received 8,467 votes. Similarly, the candidate from CPN (UML), Tara Lama Tamang, received 8,088 votes. A total of 61,074 votes were cast in Kanchanpur-1.

Likewise, in Kanchanpur-2, RSP's Deepak Raj Bohara won by a large margin. He defeated Narayan Prakash Saud of the Nepali Congress.

Election Officer Prakash Bhandari informed that Bohara secured victory with 33,952 votes, while Congress candidate Saud received 10,827 votes. Furthermore, Bachan Bahadur Singh of UML received 6,418 votes, and Madhav Pant of the CPN (Maoist Centre) received 6,337 votes. A total of 65,347 votes were cast here.

Similarly, in Kanchanpur-3, RSP's Gyanendra Singh Mahata won by securing 27,118 votes.

Here, the Congress candidate Hari Prasad Bohara received 9,443 votes, and the CPN-UML candidate Deepak Prakash Bhatt received 7,575 votes. A total of 58,361 votes were cast in Kanchanpur-3. Dhami, Bohara, and Mahata, elected from the three constituencies in the district, were contesting the parliamentary elections for the first time.
