Police Constable Dies in Koshi Rural Municipality Road Accident

Sunsari. A police constable died in a road accident in Bhantabari, Koshi Rural Municipality-8, Sunsari, last night. District Police Office Sunsari Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandrabahadur Khadka informed that 32-year-old police constable Randeep Poudel, a resident of Triyuga Municipality-2, died. Police said that Poudel was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was riding, S11P 2500, collided with a City Safari, registration number Pr 1-02-003 Ha 1052, and died during treatment today. Poudel was working at the Koshi Barrage Police Post.

After the accident, the City Safari driver, 44-year-old Puney Khan, also known as Rajak Miyan, a resident of Koshi Rural Municipality-8, absconded. The District Police Office stated that a search is underway for him. Police said that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
