Cobolli Reaches French Open Final After Arnaldi Withdraws Due to Illness

Paris. Italy's Flavio Cobolli has reached the French Open tennis final. His opponent and fellow Italian player Matteo Arnaldi withdrew from the semi-final match due to viral infection, after which Cobolli automatically entered the final.

10th seeded Cobolli will now face Germany's second seeded Alexander Zverev in the final. A new Grand Slam champion will be decided from this match.

Arnaldi stated that his health suddenly deteriorated before the match and he could not compete due to viral infection. He said he had been experiencing vomiting, fever, and weakness since last night.

Cobolli said - 'I feel both sad and happy at the same time.' He praised Arnaldi as an excellent player and an inspiring person. The final match will be held on Sunday.
