Finance Minister Khanal Thanks Election Commission and Security Forces for Peaceful General Elections

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameswor Khanal thanked the Election Commission and security agencies, stating that the House of Representatives election was conducted peacefully and systematically.

Making his statement on Thursday after the completion of the election, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Election Commission and all security agencies.

Khanal pointed out that the need for re-polling in this election was extremely low compared to the past. He stated that the peaceful environment in which the election was held has further strengthened the democratic process.

Khanal wrote on social media, 'This election remained historically peaceful. The situation requiring re-polling appeared extremely minimal. I express heartfelt gratitude to the Election Commission and all security agencies for this.'
