Two Arrested in Rautahat for Attempted Robbery by Armed Police Force

Kathmandu. The Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested two individuals involved in an attempted robbery in Chilmiliya, Garimai Municipality-9, Rautahat. APF Deputy Spokesperson (DSP) Shailendra Thapa informed Ratopati that two people were arrested on Tuesday on charges of attempting robbery.

The arrested individuals are 21-year-old Soman Kumar Sahani and 21-year-old Rameshwar Sahani. One other person involved in the attempted robbery is currently at large. They were apprehended by the striking team from the APF's Constituency Security Base, Santapur.

They were taken into custody after attempting to stop a motorcycle carrying Dharmendra Rai Yadav and his wife Chanchala Yadav, residents of Rajdevi Municipality-8, and trying to snatch jewelry worn by Chanchala. The Armed Police Force has handed them over to the local police for further investigation.
