Rabi Lamichhane's Official Facebook Page Temporarily Locked After Hacking Attempt

Kathmandu. An attempt was made to gain unauthorized access (hack) to the official Facebook page of Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). Following attempts by external individuals to hack the page, Meta (Facebook) has temporarily locked the page, prioritizing security concerns.

The RSP Secretariat issued a notice on Tuesday, informing that unauthorized access attempts on Chairman Lamichhane's page had been made repeatedly since this morning.

According to the Secretariat, no new content will be posted from the page until it is fully secured and control is regained. The Secretariat stated that efforts are underway to bring the page back into operation after completing Facebook's security procedures.

Meanwhile, the Secretariat urged the general public and well-wishers to be cautious and not consider any suspicious posts, messages, or links published from that page as official.
