Supreme Court Orders Amicus Curiae for Property Investigation Commission Case

Kathmandu. As per the Supreme Court's order, the Nepal Bar Association and the Supreme Court Bar Association have each recommended two amicus curiae (friends of the court) in the writ petition against the Property Investigation Commission.

The Nepal Bar Association has decided to send former Attorney General and senior advocate Badri Bahadur Karki and senior advocate Tikaram Bhattarai as amicus curiae, while the Supreme Court Bar Association has recommended the names of former Attorney General and senior advocate Dr. Dinmani Pokharel and advocate Raman Karna.

The Supreme Court had ordered to summon amicus curiae from the Nepal Bar and the Supreme Bar in the writ petition filed against the Property Investigation Commission.
