Liverpool Thrashes West Ham 5-2 in Premier League Thriller, Bolstering Top-Four Hopes

Liverpool, who established a three-goal lead in the first half, also achieved the feat of scoring five goals in a single match for the first time this season. Arne Slot's team has proven itself to be the league's best this year in terms of scoring from set-pieces.

In the fifth minute of the match, Hugo Ekitiké scored a spectacular goal from a pass by Ryan Gravenberch, giving Liverpool the initial lead. This is his 16th goal of the season.
