Team AMCC Clinches Double Titles in Inaugural PCM Cup Basketball

Pokhara. Team AMCC has clinched the championship in the first PCM Cup Plus Two Boys and Girls Basketball Competition organized by Pokhara College of Management (PCM). AMCC secured double titles by winning the finals in both the boys' and girls' categories.

In the boys' final held at the basketball court of Pokhara College of Management in Nadipur, AMCC defeated Sajhapaani 'B' to secure the first position. Similarly, in the exciting girls' final, AMCC defeated Team Muskan to become the champion. A total of 30 teams, including 24 in the boys' category and 6 in the girls' category, participated in the competition.

With the championship title, AMCC received a trophy, medal, and certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 15,000 in the boys' category. The runner-up, Sajhapaani, received a trophy, medal, and certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000. In the girls' category, AMCC, securing the first position, received a trophy, medal, and certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000, while the runner-up Team Muskan received a trophy, medal, and certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 5,000.

The competition, organized with the main slogan 'Champions for Today, Leaders for Tomorrow', was inaugurated by the college's Principal Lina Negi Shrestha by handing over the ball to the referee. On the occasion, she stated that the college organized this competition with the objective of further enhancing the leadership development of youth and student-friendly activities.
