Incumbent Vice President Rosina Pradhan Rai Announces Candidacy for Open Vice President Position in NRNA World Conference

Kathmandu. Rosina Pradhan Rai, the current Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), has announced her candidacy for the Open Vice President position in the upcoming 12th NRNA World Convention and General Assembly.

Rai, who has been continuously active in various responsibilities within the NRNA since 2007, stated that she is presenting her claim for the Open Vice President position with a commitment to make the organization stronger, more unified, and reach the highest level. Elected as the Women's Vice President in the 11th General Assembly, she clarified that this move is not personal ambition but a commitment to the long-term interest and prosperity of the organization.

Announcing her candidacy, Rai stated that she would always stand for broader unity, transparency, and institutional strengthening, acknowledging the challenges that have appeared within the organization. She recalled that even while serving as the Women's Vice President, she worked shoulder-to-shoulder for the benefit of the entire organization, Nepalis, and Nepal, rising above gender and community.

Embracing the organization's core mantra of 'Nepali for Nepal,' Rai also put forward her clear vision targeting the next generation. 'It is not just 'Once a Nepali, always a Nepali'; I am determined in the campaign to establish the descendants of Nepalis scattered worldwide as respected Nepalis and to build a cultured and developed Nepal,' Rai said.

Stating that she views her candidacy as a symbol of shared responsibility and collective effort, she expects the support, trust, and cooperation of all Non-Resident Nepali brothers and sisters scattered across the globe.
