Over 221,000 Personnel to be Deployed for House of Representatives Election on Falgun 21

Kathmandu. A total of 221,000 personnel will be deployed across 165 constituencies nationwide for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. This number of personnel will be assigned to 23,112 polling centers in 165 constituencies across 77 districts, plus 143 temporary centers designated only for proportional representation voting.

Election Commission Assistant Spokesperson Prakash Neupane stated that arrangements have been made to deploy nine staff members at centers with more than 500 voters and eight staff members at centers with fewer than 500 voters. The Commission also informed that after the Polling Officers and Assistant Polling Officers deployed at the polling centers receive training, the remaining staff assigned to the centers will be trained by the respective Polling Officers.

The Commission announced that election materials and ballot papers for the election reached all 165 constituencies across the country on Thursday.
