Dramatic Results in UEFA Champions League Play-Offs: PSG Advances Despite Draw, Juventus Knocked Out by Galatasaray

Kathmandu. Dramatic results were seen in the UEFA Champions League play-off second leg matches held today. French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) advanced to the next round despite drawing with Monaco at home, securing the win on aggregate, while Italian club Juventus was defeated by Galatasaray at home and eliminated from the competition.

PSG drew 2-2 with Monaco at their home ground. However, thanks to the lead secured in the first leg, PSG managed to reach the next stage with an aggregate score of 5-4.

Monaco took the initial lead in the match in the 45th minute with a goal from Maghnes Akliouche. In the 58th minute, Monaco's Mamadou Coulibaly received a red card, reducing the team to 10 men. Taking advantage of this, PSG took the lead with goals from Marquinhos in the 60th minute and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 66th minute. However, Jordan Teze scored a leveling goal for Monaco in injury time, but it was not enough for the team to advance.

Galatasaray Advances to Next Round, Stuns Juventus

In another match, Galatasaray defeated Juventus 7-5 on aggregate at Juventus's home ground, eliminating them from the competition. Although Juventus won the second leg 3-2 in regular time, the aggregate score reached 5-5, pushing the match into extra time.

For Juventus, Manuel Locatelli scored in the 37th minute, Federico Gatti in the 70th minute, and Weston McKennie in the 82nd minute. Juventus's Lloyd Kelly received a red card in the 48th minute. Galatasaray performed excellently in extra time. Victor Osimhen and Baris Alper Yilmaz scored goals, ensuring Galatasaray's incredible victory.
