Rajbiraj –A woman was seriously injured on Wednesday after getting mauled by a leopard along the Jita riverbank in Tilathi Koiladi rural municipality – 4 of Saptari district.
30 – year – old Premwati Sardar, wife of Shiva Kumar Sardar, was grazing cattle near the river when the leopard attacked out of nowhere, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mukesh Kumar Singh said.
Sardar has been admitted at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital for treatment.
