Five SSPs transferred

Kathmandu, January 1 — Five Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) have been transferred within the Nepal Police, as per the decision made by Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.

Somendra Singh Rathore has been posted to the Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office, while Binod Ghimire has been transferred to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office.

Bhupendra Khatri has been moved to the Nepal Police Academy in Bharatpur, and Shyam Krishna Adhikari has been assigned to the District Police Office in Lalitpur.

Additionally, Shekhar Khanal, who was previously stationed in Lalitpur, has been transferred to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office.

This move follows controversy surrounding officer Khanal's tenure in Banke.
