Budget reaction from Birgunj

Birgunj – The industrialists and business persons in Birgunj have said that the budget of fiscal year 2075/076 BS tabled by Finance Minister Dr Yubraj Khatiwada was positive. 

Chairman of Parsa Chamber of Commerce and lawmaker Om Prakash Sharma said that the budget was good in general adding that prioritizing the energy sector was a positive aspect. He, however, said that budget was silent about the development of Birgunj industrial corridor. 

Likewise, industrialist Ashok Baidhya said despite the budget was good it could not reduce the trade deficit and attract foreign investment. 

Likewise, another industrialist Pradip Kediya said that the budget has not incorporated new issues though it was ambitious.
