Power Outages Scheduled in Various Parts of Kathmandu Today

Kathmandu. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced power cuts in various locations in Kathmandu today (Saturday). The Authority published a notice stating that electricity will be cut in the Sinamangal Chowk and Tilganga areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Baneshwor distribution center.

The Authority stated that the 11 KV transmission line will be shut down to manage a fallen pole in front of the Tilganga Eye Hospital.

The Authority has scheduled power cuts in Tilganga, Prakash Sanyas Ashram, Shambhumarg, Gaushala, and areas surrounding the airport from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Similarly, electricity will be cut from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in all areas under Tinkune, Garigaun, Sinamangal, and the airport area.

Likewise, power cuts will occur in various locations under the Maharajgunj distribution center. Electricity will be cut from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM today for the completion of underground distribution system work being carried out by the Kathmandu Valley Central and North Distribution System Strengthening Project.

According to the Authority, power will be cut from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Baluwatar, Shivapuri School, Pandol Marg, and areas surrounding the Prime Minister's residence.

Furthermore, power cuts will also affect areas such as Hepali Height, Chasingdol, Deurali Janata, Bhagwati Mandir, and Dhapasi.

The Authority also announced that power cuts will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in areas including Banshidhar Marg, Chundol, Vishal Nagar, Central Apartment, and the Tundadevi Temple.
