Nai Academy to Honor Twelve Professors with 'Nai Pragya Award' During Nepal-India University Conference

Kathmandu. The Nai Academy has decided to confer the 'Nai Pragya Award' upon twelve professors in recognition of their dedication to enhancing the stature of the 'Nepal-India University Professor Conference' and for their contributions to the reading, research, and creative enrichment of Nepali language and literature. The prize money for each award is fifty thousand rupees.

The recipients of the 'Nai Pragya Award' will be Prof. Dr. Rishiram Sharma, Prof. Dr. Kapildev Lamichhane, Prof. Keshav Subedi, Prof. Dr. Chakrapani Khanal, Prof. Dr. Jang Bahadur Chauhan, Prof. Dr. Bharat Kumar Bhattarai, Prof. Dr. Mahadev Awasthi, Dr. Rajani Kafle Dhakal, Prof. Dr. Laxman Prasad Gautam, Prof. Dr. Lekh Prasad Niraula, Dr. Sadhana Pant 'Pratiksha', and Dr. Hark Bahadur Shahi.

The decision was made in a meeting chaired by the Chancellor of the Nai Academy, Mrs. Indira Prasai.

The Nai Academy is organizing a three-day 'Nepal-India University Professor Conference' under the supreme academic leadership of literary critic Prof. Dr. Basudev Tripathi.

Nai Academy Member Secretary Narendra Raj Prasai informed that the 'Nai Pragya Award' will be conferred during the 'Nepal-India University Professor Conference' scheduled to take place on Chaitra 27, 28, and 29, 2082 BS.
