Western Low-Pressure System Affecting Nepal's Weather Forecast

Kathmandu. The Department of Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently under the influence of a western low-pressure system. Due to this influence, there is generally cloudy weather in the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

This afternoon, fog and mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region during the morning. There will be general cloud cover in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Partial cloud cover is expected in the remaining areas of Madhesh Province, as well as the remaining parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and the mountainous and hilly regions of the remaining provinces.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, haze will remain in a few places in the Terai region. There will be partial cloud cover in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the weather in the remaining provinces will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by snowfall in one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province.
