Three killed after bus rams bike in Tanahun

Tanahun –Three youths have died after a bus rammed a bike in Tanahun on Saturday night. 

The bus (Na 5 Kha 3082) heading towards Kakarbhitta from Pokhara rammed the ill-fated bike (Na 55 Pa 1594) coming from the opposite direction at Kamalbari of Byas municipality – 12 along the Prithvi highway. 

There were four people on the bike at the time of the accident. 20 – year – old Raj Raya and 21 – year – old Dhiraj Chaudhary of Serawa rural municipality – 3 died on the spot following the accident while 22 – year – old Sanjaya Chaudhary died in course of treatment at Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara this morning, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sunil Malla of District Police Office, Tanahun. 

21 – year – old Bhola Chaudhary is receiving treatment at the same hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Damauli Hospital and Gandaki Medical College for post – mortem examinations, police said. 

Police have detained the bus driver and impounded the vehicle for further investigation, DSP Malla added.
