Petrol coupons distributed to boost turnout for PM Oli’s Parsa visit
Parsa, December 29 — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to visit Parsa on Sunday. He will be attending a party entry program organized by the CPN UML) party office in Parsa at the Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality.
According to reports, Prime Minister Oli is expected to arrive by helicopter. The purpose of his visit is to facilitate the party entry of former chairman of the rural municipality, Pradeep Jaiswal, as per CPN (UML) Parsa's announcement.
In order to encourage large participation in the event, coupons for petrol distribution have been given out in various villages, as reported by an UML activist attending the program. Coupons have been distributed in each local level for this purpose.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to spend around four hours at Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality. Bishwambhar Sharma, the president of CPN (UML) Parsa, stated that the event will involve the entry of 5,000 cadres from various parties into UML.
However, Provincial Sports Minister Pramod Jaiswal clarified that they have not distributed any petrol coupons. He mentioned that party workers are coming to the event at their own expense.
The visit of Prime Minister Oli to Parsa is primarily to facilitate the party entry of Minister Jaiswal’s brother into the CPN (UML).
