Nepali Congress President Thapa Pledges Corruption-Free Nation Within Five Years

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has stated that the party's first priority is to make the country corruption-free within five years. Speaking at an interaction program titled 'Our Pledge, Your Question' organized in Kathmandu on Thursday, President Thapa asserted that action would be taken against anyone involved in corruption, regardless of their status as a leader or relative.

'Our first priority is to make Nepal corruption-free within five years,' said President Thapa, 'If we engage in corruption, we will not spare leaders, nor will we spare relatives.'

President Thapa emphasized that no one would be exempt if corruption is committed. He stated, 'If it has happened, our leaders will also be included. Relatives will also be included. If we do it, we will also be included. If it is done, we will be included.'
