Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa Pledges Commitment Over Manifesto in Upcoming Election

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has stated that in the House of Representatives election, they will make commitments rather than issuing declarations and promises.

Speaking at an interaction program titled 'Our Commitment, Your Future' organized in Kathmandu on Thursday, President Thapa mentioned that they deliberately chose not to bring an election manifesto for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.

'We intentionally did not call it an election manifesto. In the election, we will not make declarations and promises. We will make commitments,' said President Thapa, 'We are making commitments in the election. We have already publicized the details of those commitments in Janakpur.'

President Thapa stated that the commitment publicized in Janakpur is both a Janak Commitment and a Bhishma Commitment. He added that they will strive to fulfill it whether they are in power or far from it. He also mentioned that they will move forward by correcting past mistakes made by the party.
