MMA Legend Ronda Rousey Announces Comeback Fight Against Gina Carano in California

It has been decided that she will compete against another famous fighter, Gina Carano, in the 'Super-Fight' to be held on May 16 at the 18,000-capacity Intuit Dome in California.

This clash is claimed to be the biggest and most anticipated fight in the history of women's combat sports. This fight between Rousey, who is over 39 years old, and Carano will also be the first MMA fight to be broadcast live on Netflix. This competition, held in the 145-pound weight class, will last for five rounds.

Rousey stated that she is very excited to announce this historic clash between herself and Carano after a long wait.

Rousey, an Olympic judo bronze medalist, was the first woman to sign a contract with the UFC and win a UFC belt.

She remained undefeated in MMA for five consecutive years and retired from MMA at the age of 29. Her undefeated streak ended after an unexpected defeat against Holly Holm in 2015, and after losing to Amanda Nunes the following year, she retired and moved to WWE.
