Nepali Film 'Shree Bukuro' Postpones Screening Amid Political Climate

Kathmandu. The screening of the Nepali feature film 'Shree Bukuro' has been postponed. The distribution company, National Cine Group Nepal, issued a statement saying that the film's screening has been halted due to the current political situation in the country.

The film, which was released last Friday, will now resume screening across Nepal starting from Baisakh 18, 2083 BS. The statement, signed by Deepak Dangal, Chairman of National Cine Group, reads, 'Considering the current political situation of the country, it is informed that the screening date of the film has been postponed from Falgun 6, 2082 BS, as per the decision of the producer.'

The statement describes 'Shree Bukuro' as a film based on an emotional story connecting the nation, society, family, home, and the heart.

The production team has apologized for any inconvenience caused to the audience, film exhibitors, and all concerned parties due to the postponement of the release date. They also committed to bringing the film to the audience on Baisakh 18 with wider publicity and a grand presentation.

Previously, the film 'Bigul,' which was also being screened, had also decided to postpone its screening citing political reasons.
