Former CPN-UML Leader Jitendra Narayan Dev Rejoins Nepali Congress

Kathmandu. Jitendra Narayan Dev, who left the CPN-UML a few days ago, has announced his return to the Nepali Congress.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Dev announced his return to the Nepali Congress, welcoming, supporting, and embracing the policies, ideology, plans, proposals, and commitments passed by the recently concluded special national general convention of the Nepali Congress.

Furthermore, he formally announced that he and his colleagues have returned to the Nepali Congress effective today, remaining fully committed and faithful to the Central Working Committee led by Gagan Kumar Thapa, elected by the special national general convention.

'I have full faith that the new leadership with innovative policies and a new progressive vision passed by the special national general convention will effectively and decisively advance the campaign for socio-political transformation in the country and will change the country in the public interest, just as they have started changing the party,' Dev stated.

Dev, who was also a member of the Constituent Assembly, had previously joined the CPN-UML from the Congress, but he has now returned from the CPN-UML to the Congress.
