Nepal's first disabled – friendly library in Nuwakot

Kathmandu –The Read Nepal, a non-governmental organization, has built a community library with disabled – friendly and multi-disaster resistant infrastructure. 

The NGO built the Janajagaran Community Library at Belkot municipality – 2 in Nuwakot with nine rooms including children's room, information and technology room and disaster risk reduction room along with four accessible toilets. 

The library building was constructed at a cost of Rs 17.5 million under the Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Project, Read Nepal's official Chin Kaji Shrestha said.
