Printing of House of Representatives Ballots Nears Completion in Nepal

Bhaktapur. The printing of ballots for the House of Representatives elections has reached its final stage. Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra Limited announced that the remaining five lakh ballots will be printed by the end of today.

Yadunath Poudel, Executive Managing Director of the center, informed that the printing of ballots will conclude today, stating that the remaining five lakh ballots for the Bagmati Province will be completed by this evening.

He said, "The printing of ballots for the direct election is in the final phase. Out of the two crore three lakh ballots to be printed for the direct election, we will finish printing the remaining five lakh ballots throughout today. We started printing ballots with a 42-day schedule, and it is concluding today, on the 40th day." He added that after the printing is complete today, all ballots will be packed by tomorrow and transported to the remaining districts.

The center stated that ballots were printed ahead of schedule, with a daily output of 13 to 15 lakh ballots. The Election Commission has already delivered 10 lakh sample ballots that the center completed printing to various locations, and the printing of two crore eight lakh 30 thousand proportional representation ballots has been completed, packed, and is currently being sent to various districts.

Center's Managing Director Poudel informed that all ballots have reached Karnali and Sudurpaschim, and work is underway to deliver them to the remaining areas by the 12th.
