Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Lingden Declares Socialist and Communist Ideologies Failed

Kathmandu. Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, has commented that the philosophies of communism and socialism have failed. He made this statement while addressing an event organized in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Chairman Lingden asserted that as the philosophies of socialism and communism have failed, even the world's largest nations are now leaning towards conservationism. He stated that conservationism is the appropriate ideology for both building and saving the nation, which is why his party has adopted it and is moving forward. He said, 'Conservationism is not just a philosophy that seems right to us. Socialism and communism today are the traditional philosophical concepts. Society was divided, the world was divided. Now that those philosophical tenets have failed, where is society heading now? It is heading towards the belief that my tradition, my nation comes first. And now the world's largest countries are moving forward inspired by that belief. And in the world, this conservationism, although they may have given it various names. Now, in the context of its interpretation, our predecessors said it might be better to put it this way. But in its original form, in its essence, it is my tradition, my nation first, and change must be sustainable and lasting with continuity. Building a roof without building a foundation is useless. That harms the nation, harms society—this understanding is currently developing. And now the path for all of us is conservationism. The path to build and save the country is conservationism.'

On that occasion, Chairman Lingden also stated that there is no reason to hesitate in granting citizenship to Non-Resident Nepalis on the basis of lineage. —News Agency Nepal
