RSP Leader Balen Shah Abruptly Changes Schedule, Skips Lamjung Event After Visits to Dhading and Gorkha

Pokhara. There was publicity that senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra Sah (Balen), would participate in a program in Lamjung after visiting Dhading and passing through Gorkha. He held a roadshow from his vehicle in Dhading and sought votes for Ashika Tamang. After that, he entered Gorkha and spent some time with the candidate for Constituency No. 1, Sudan Gurung.

Afterward, he went to Gorkhali Durbar and has been staying directly in Pokhara. The party structure is not very aware of his arrival in Pokhara. 'I heard there was a program in Lamjung. I didn't know the subsequent schedule,' said one leader, 'But, we only found out this morning that he arrived in Pokhara last night.'

Today's scheduled program in Lamjung has been postponed. According to candidate Dharma KC, he postponed the program and returned due to the party's manifesto and various other tasks. 'His visits to Gorkha, Tanahun, and Lamjung are pending. It has been postponed due to current engagements,' he said, 'In Gorkha yesterday, he only went to visit the temple. He will return in a few days.'

He stated that news about Balen's visit reached them from the center on Friday afternoon, and news of its postponement came in the evening. Balen, who is staying in Chauthe, Pokhara, is preparing to fly to Bhairahawa today.
