Veteran Actress Laxmi Giri Starrer 'Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling' Passes Censor Board with Universal Certificate

The film 'Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling,' starring veteran actress Laxmi Giri, has passed the censor board. The Central Film Censor Board passed the film on Tuesday evening, granting it a Universal Certificate, meaning it is suitable for all audiences.

The film's director, Sudeep Bhupal Singh, stated that the board praised the film and granted permission for its screening. Singh quoted the board saying, 'The film being made now is of a different style,' and added, 'We really liked the story of the film connecting families.'

Singh, who previously directed 'Mala' and 'Rudrapriya,' is returning after 7 years with this film. Produced under the banner of Range, the film features performances by Ashirwad Chhetri, Laxmi Giri, Nikita Acharya, Pratikraj Acharya, Roshni Karki, Rajan Ishan, Deepika Thapa, Lay Sangraula, Mohan Niraula, Rambabu Regmi, Rashmi Bhatt, Uttam KC, Geeta Thapa, Sapana Shrestha, Ashika Shahi, Deepak Karki, and Rajina Bishwakarma, among others. The film, written by director Singh, is produced by Ruby Sen Singh.

Cinematography by Sanjay Lama and Rajesh Shrestha, the film was shot in Mustang, Baglung, Kaski, Damali, Makwanpur, and Kathmandu. The film's music is composed by Ranjit Gajmer and Basanta Sapkota.
